Yesterday was the Wai Kru Ceremonies
which is basically teacher appreciation day.
Since St. Gabe’s is so big they break up the ceremonies by grades, my
ceremony was in front of all the 3rd, and 4th graders. All the teachers and I sat on the stage and some
students came up on stage and presented us with flowers and bowed at our feet. I have never been honored in such a way. The flowers smell great but to bring me good
luck I put them on a statue of Mary outside the school. Enjoy these photos, courtesy of the wonderful Kate Murphy & Maggie Broderick (Loyola '12).
